Brighton Rope is reacting with caution and care to the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 is not over, and although the government is no longer requiring us to take safety measures, we believe that people who are clinically vulnerable still have a right to be protected, so that they can access events like ours.
Our current policy is:
- You must show proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test from the past 24 hours in order to be allowed entry to all classes. This can be the actual test, a picture of a test (with timestamp of the picture), or a test result that’s been uploaded to the COVID app
- We will have a limited number of Lateral Flow Tests available on the door, if you can’t afford to buy your own tests. However, we ask that you only use this option if you need to, as if taking a test on the door your entry to the class will be delayed, and we can’t afford to provide tests to every attendee
- You must show a COVID Passport or other proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to be allowed entry to all classes
- Tickets are sold singly and in pairs – if you buy a singles ticket, please be prepared to be matched with someone during the class, and to have close body contact with that person. If this is outside of your risk profile, please attend with someone you are happy to have close body contact with
- Masks can be worn optionally, if you choose
- We will avoid overcrowding the space and ensure that doors/windows are opened during the break to allow good airflow
- The communal rope box is back in use – however these ropes are not used outside of classes
